"Cindy worked with me as a tutor in the LINK Program
for most of the past school year. She was effective, professional, efficient, and extremely appealing to her students.
Her effectiveness was evidenced by the change of her student's grade from F to C and then B. Professionalism was
present in her responsibility, her knowledge of her subject, and her interest in her students. Efficiency was clear
in that the grades began to change within a month of her involvemet with her student. The rapport she established with
her student was obvious when she was unable to work with him for several months and then upon return, she was received like
a dear friend. Cindy is a fine person and it was a pleasure to work with her. She cannot be recommended too highly.

"To Whom It May Concern: Cindy Umholtz was hired to tutor
my son, Hadrian, in Geometry nine weeks into the school year. At that time, he was failing the course. He scheduled
extra time with his teacher, but she failed to help him. Cindy began tutoring Hadrian three times a week, one hour per
session. Hadrian's grades started to improve within a short time and the stress he felt about being in Geometry
class gradually disappeared. By December, Hadrian was only seeing Cindy twice a week and after winter break once a week.
By February, he was tutored only occassionally He ended the semester with the highest grade in his class on the semester
exam. I believe had it not been for Cindy's expertise and encouragement Hadrian would not have achieved the success
he did in this course. Cindy also tutored my daughter in Algebra 1 during December and January. Julie's grade
at that time was a C. She now has an A in the class. I am certain Julie would not be doing this well had Cindy
not worked with her. Both my children's response to Cindy was extremely positive. Unlike their teachers at
school, they felt Cindy was very easy to work with and could explain math concepts in a way they both were able to grasp.
She was cheerful, patient, gave them confidence when they needed it most, and was always there with a smile. I would
highly recommend Cindy in any tutoring or teaching capacity. Sincerely, Linda Black
